Your lawn’s needs change with the seasons, and understanding these changes is essential for maintaining year-round health. In spring, your lawn begins to grow actively. This is the perfect time for fertilizing, overseeding, and addressing any damage caused during winter.

During summer, lawns are exposed to heat and dryness. Proper watering becomes crucial—deep watering a few times a week is better than frequent shallow watering. Mowing should be adjusted to keep the grass slightly taller, helping retain moisture and protect roots.

In fall, the focus shifts to strengthening the lawn. This is the best time for aeration and fertilization, as cooler temperatures allow roots to grow deeper and stronger. Removing fallen leaves is also important to prevent suffocation of the grass.

Finally, winter is about protection. While grass growth slows down, it’s important to keep the lawn clear of debris and avoid heavy foot traffic. Preparing your lawn for winter ensures it comes back healthy and vibrant in the spring.

By following a seasonal lawn care routine, you can maintain a strong, green, and beautiful lawn throughout the entire year.
